About

what.tools asks one question: what tools do you use?

People list the software, hardware, services and AI they use, with how long they've used them, what they switched from, and a note. Tools rank by how many people use them. There are no ratings, no ads and no images: just dense pages of what people actually use.

It started from /uses pages, the pages many people keep on their own websites to list their setup. A page here is meant to be one worth linking from yours.

Makers are ordinary users: a tool's page links to the account of who makes it.
